Libraries Offers Weekly Board Game Night for Fall 2025

Syracuse University Libraries is offering a weekly Board Game Night for the Fall 2025 semester in Bird Library. Alternating between Tuesday and Wednesday evenings beginning October 21 and running through December 2 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, Board Game Night is open to all SU and SUNY-ESF students. Students can drop in any evening.
“The idea for Board Game Night came from the Student Involvement Fair held on the Quad in September,” said Melinda Dermody, Associate Dean for Academic Success. “We asked students to vote on what community building activities they’d like to see the Libraries offer, and this came to the forefront. Many students don’t know that the Libraries loans out a variety of games, and our collection features classics and modern favorites, perfect for all ages and skill levels. We encourage students to bring a friend or meet new ones to Board Game Night.”
