SCRC Hosting Tours of 'Architectural Origins: Syracuse University Buildings, 1870-1970'

The Special Collections Research Center (SCRC) is hosting exhibition tours led by Meg Mason, SCRC’s University Archivist. Showcasing photographs, architectural drawings and plans, correspondence and other University records, postcards, and printed materials, Architectural Origins exhibits historical materials from the University Archives. Three-dimensional objects are also on display, including a piece of a bleacher from Archbold Stadium and I.M. Pei’s architectural model of the Newhouse Communications Center complex.

The following tours are free and open to the public. Because spots are limited, those interested must REGISTER in advance. The public tours are being offered on:

A tour is also being offered specifically for the Syracuse University community (staff, students and faculty) on December 17 from 3:30 - 4:30 pm. Registration is also required for the campus tour.
