MarketResearch.com Academic offers in-depth market research reports covering the life sciences, information technology, telecommunications, food, beverage, consumer packaged goods, financial services, publishing and more. Syracuse University Libraries’ subscription to MarketResearch.com Academic includes reports from the following four publishers:

Relevant reports may be found with simple keyword searches or by using the Advanced Search to limit further by title, publisher, etc. Reports may also be browsed by categories, such as “Food & Beverage,” “Technology & Media,” and “Life Science,” and subcategories, including “Foodservice and Hospitality,” “Computer Hardware and Networking,” and “Pharmaceuticals.”

For a better sense of the variety of topics covered, here are a few report titles:

Each report includes an executive summary and covers the market, market analysis and key market players/companies. Depending on the report topic and publisher, reports may include additional background information about the industry and further analysis. Reports are 70 to over 300 pages in length and may be downloaded in PDF format. The price listed next to each report (ranging from $1,000 to $6,000) is for informational purposes only and is intended to give one a sense of the value of the report, if the report were to be purchased outside of an academic subscription.

When someone discovers a pricey market research report via Google, I’ll often turn to MarketResearch.com Academic to suggest a comparable report that they can immediately access. If you are interested in market research reports, I highly recommend searching and browsing in MarketResearch.com Academic.
