Competition to Redesign Flag of the City of Syracuse
The Syracuse Flag Initiative is accepting designs for a new flag for the City of Syracuse now through February 17, 2023. Submissions are being accepted online or via mail. Members of the Syracuse University community are invited to submit designs for consideration. Two Syracuse University employees, Winn Wasson, social sciences librarian, and Neal Powless, ombuds, are both volunteers on the Syracuse Flag Initiative. The Initiative will be holding an information session, open to the public, encouraging University students, faculty and staff to learn more about the Syracuse Flag Initiative and submit design ideas. The campus information sessions will be held on January 25 and February 2 at 5 p.m. in Bird Library, Room 114. For more information, go to https://syracuseflag.com.
