Kieran Hickey Joins Libraries as Collection Development and Analysis Librarian
Kieran T. Hickey recently joined Syracuse University Libraries as the Collection Development and Analysis Librarian. In this role he will be responsible for analyzing usage and selecting and deselecting library resources. Prior to joining Syracuse University, Hickey was the Assistant Director of Collection Development at Hamilton College. He also worked for four years as the Digital Content Librarian for OverDrive Inc. and as a reference librarian at SUNY Genesee Community College. Hickey obtained his bachelor's degree in English from the University of Arizona and his master’s in library and information science from The University of British Columbia. He volunteers as director of the Queer Liberation Library.
