Libraries Expands ‘Things’ for Borrowing
Based on user feedback, Syracuse University Libraries has expanded the ‘things’ available for borrowing in its ‘Library of Things,’ community items that are loaned for free to any users with an SU or SUNY-ESF ID. New items available for borrowing include ladder ball lawn game, pickleball set, level/stud finder, Onondaga County Parks pass (good for admission to Beaver Lake, Jamesville Beach, Oneida Shores, Pratt’s Falls or the Rosamond Gifford Zoo) and an Empire Park Pass for New York State Parks.
Like all its loanable items, items from the Library of Things can be borrowed by students, faculty and staff. Library of Things are available for pickup at the Bird Library Check Out Desk. Loan periods vary depending on the item.
