Libraries Launches Social Media Contest
Syracuse University Libraries is looking for student campus creators and social media influencers to create original social media posts, including short videos, about Syracuse University Libraries’ resources, spaces, services and experts. SU and SUNY-ESF students who are not current Libraries’ employees are invited to post their own Instagram and/or Facebook social media channels, and both tag the Libraries and invite SyracuseULib as a collaborator. If the Libraries reshares student content on its own channel, they will offer the student creator a $25 gift card to Amazon or Starbucks, up to three times per academic year.
The goal is to engage students with the Libraries and increase peer-to-peer engagement on content meaningful to students about the Libraries’ depth and breadth of resources.
