Named for: Carmelo K. Anthony, member of SU's 2003 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship team

Cost: $19 million

Funding: $3 million gift from Carmelo K. Anthony

Architects: Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, King & King Architects

Contractors: Haynor Hoyt Corporation

Materials: Reinforced concrete with brick facing and limestone trim

Location: Comstock Avenue; part of Lampe Athletics Complex

Space: 54,000 square feet

Notes: When completed the basketball court area contained 2 NCAA regulation-size courts made of first-grade maple and covered 13,750 square feet. Included were weight, training and hydrotherapy rooms; men and women's locker rooms; coach's suites; a study room and Hall of Fame. Sustainability measures were designed into the building to allow for a LEED certified status.
