Syracuse University Libraries is pleased to collaborate with the Hendricks Chapel Food Pantry (Food Pantry) to support their mission to “serve individuals who experience hunger, food insecurity, and a lack of resources.” Bird Library is now an established drop-off location for Food Pantry donations. The Libraries will accept any sealed, non-expired and non-perishable food or personal care items that are included in the Food Pantry Shopping List. Items can be dropped at the 1st Floor Check Out Desk at Bird Library during regular Check Out Desk hours. Questions regarding this service can be emailed to circulation@syr.edu.

“The Libraries is excited to contribute to the fight against food insecurity,” says Melinda Dermody, Interim Associate Dean of Academic Success. “We’re committed to supporting our students in all aspects to help them be successful.”
