Digital Humanities Workshop: An introduction to Electronic Literature, November 9, 2018
On Friday, November 9, Patrick Williams (Librarian for Literature, Rhetoric, an d Digital Humanities) and Jana Rosinski (Doctoral Student in Composition & Cultural Rhetoric) will present An Introduction to Electronic Literature, a hands-on workshop, in Bird Library’s Digital Scholarship Space (room 458) from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Jana and Patrick will present an overview of some of the forms electronic literature has taken, from the early days of computing to the rise of social media bots and other contemporary creative pursuits. Participants will interact with these works and engage in hands-on exploration of some contemporary tools for creating their own, including Tracery, Twine, and others.
