Libraries Hires Life Sciences Librarian Jo Dienst
Syracuse University Libraries’ recently hired Jo Dienst as Life Sciences Librarian. Jo will be the liaison for psychology, biology, forensic sciences and communication disorders and sciences. They will be part of the Research Impact team at the Libraries.
Dienst comes to Syracuse University from Alvernia University in Pennsylvania, where they were Information Literacy Librarian, and Duquesne University, where they served as Health Sciences and STEM Librarian. Dienst received their Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and their bachelor’s degree from Carthage College.
