Libraries Hires Christina ‘Rai’ Yiannakos
Syracuse University Libraries’ recently hired Rai Yiannakos as Lead Librarian for Acquisitions.
Yiannakos will oversee resource purchasing, ensuring that the Libraries’ practices and procedures for material acquisitions support the Libraries’ and University’s objectives. Most recently, Yiannakos was the Public Services Librarian at Alfred University. Prior to that she worked at the King County Library System in Washington. She received her master’s in library and information science from the University of Washington.
