Syracuse University Libraries is seeking undergraduate and graduate student artists to exhibit their work in the Biblio Gallery in Bird Library, fourth floor. Submissions are accepted year-long, including the summer. The Biblio Gallery is an exhibition and study space curated by S. Ann Skiold, Art and Language Librarian. Created to provide Syracuse University students with a place to exhibit their work and enrich their learning experience, student artists are able to frame, mount, label and display their work. Exhibitors are responsible for the hanging and arrangement of all materials in the gallery space. The Libraries will promote exhibits via the Libraries website, calendar postings, social media and other channels as appropriate. After the curator approves a submission, artists must install their own work and write an artist statement. For the online exhibit, images must be submitted in .tiff format with the artist statement submitted in Microsoft Word. Those interested in exhibiting in the Biblio Gallery, can complete the Exhibition Submission Request Form. For questions or assistance, contact Ann Skiold.
