2025 National Native American Heritage Month

In November, we recognize National Native Americans Heritage Month. This observation is designed to reflect on the history of Native peoples, celebrate their unique culture and honor their wide-ranging contributions to the nation. In support, Syracuse University Libraries has created a book display and research guide showcasing examples of the art, craft, music, dance and literature of our Native peoples. There is a strong relationship between the various art forms enabling the viewer to better understand the beliefs and acknowledge the rich heritage Native Americans bring to our nation.
